An Update In Shamanism for Today's World:  Carrying Power, Tending the Collective

Cecile Carson, MD, & Cynthia Nado         Rochester, New York       May 11, 2019

Version 3

In this day together, Cecile and Cynthia will offer explorations with spirit for new ways of journeying, of deeper embodiment of spirit helpers and power, of working with the sentience of collective fields of energy, and of opening to deeper conversation with nature spirits in everyday encounters.

These are ways to help sustain us in staying clear, balanced, and strong in tending this troubled world and each other. Many of us are looking toward an indigenous view of non-hierarchical, right relationship with all beings, and for these kinds of tools to integrate into our day-to-day lives.

Cecile Carson is a long-time international shamanic teacher and a practitioner of core shamanism. She was a Founding Board member of the Society for Shamanic Practice and editor of the anthology Spirited Medicine: Shamanism in Contemporary Healthcare.

Cynthia Nado is a dynamic shamanic teacher and practitioner in Rochester, NY. She has facilitated an ongoing shamanic journeying circle for many years, and is presently completing a 2-year teacher training with Sandra Ingerman.  She has also studied with Cecile, Betsy Bergstrom, Myron Eshowsky, and Tom Cowan.
